【摘要】:Thisfiretestresponsestandarddeterminesmaterialpropertiesrelatedtopilotedignitionofaverticallyorientedsampleunderaconstantanduniformheatfluxandtolateralflamespreadonaverticalsurfaceduetoanexternallyappliedradiant-heatflux.Theresultsofthistestmethodprovideaminimumsurfacefluxandtemperaturenecessaryforignition(q"o,ig,Tig)andforlateralspread(q"o,s,Ts,min),aneffectivematerialthermalinertiavalue(kc),andaflame-heatingparameterpertinenttolateralflamespread.Theresultsofthistestmethodarepotentiallyusefultopredictthetimetoignition,tig,andthevelocity,V,oflateralflamespreadonaverticalsurfaceunderaspecifiedexternalfluxwithoutforcedlateralairflow.Usetheequationsinthatgoverntheignitionandflame-spreadprocessesandwhichhavebeenusedtocorrelatethedata.Thistestmethodispotentiallyusefultoobtainresultsofignitionandflamespreadformaterials.Dataarereportedinunitsforconvenientuseincurrentfiregrowthmodels.SIunitsareusedthroughoutthestandard.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditionsThisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection.
